Job brief
We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician who will process and fill prescriptions. You will also undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly.
As a pharmacy technician, you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as an aptitude for using computers.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening
- Greet customers and answer questions
- Receive prescriptions and check their validity
- Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
- Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
- Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor inventory
- Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician
- Experience with a pharmaceutical prescription system is a plus
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Reliable with a keen eye for detail
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program
- A certified Pharmacy technician is an asset

Lindo’s requires a Kitchen Porter (Pot Washer)
We currently have an opening for a Kitchen Porter, no experience is necessary but it is a benefit.
Reporting to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Porter (Pot-Wash) is responsible for the daily cleaning of all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, serving dishes, etc. together with kitchen machinery, and all floors, walls, and fridges. shelving, etc. In the kitchen, storerooms, and food preparation areas. He/she is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complying with all the legal, safety, and hygiene requirements in the kitchen;
- Washing hygienically all utensils, pots, pans, and any equipment used in the kitchen production area during the working day and ensuring that clean equipment is available;
- Ensuring that all items brought to the pot-wash area are washed/cleaned correctly, are grease-free, dry, and replaced in the appropriate storage area;
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the pot-wash, kitchen, and preparation areas;
- Removing waste regularly during the day to the designated area;
- Reporting immediately, and ceasing to use, any equipment that has become faulty;
- Cleaning kitchen and associated equipment, walls, floors, fixtures and fittings, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, and glassware;
- Ensuring a high standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with statutory regulations;
- Working efficiently as part of a team, to promote a harmonious working atmosphere.

Nutella & Fruit Heart Pizza
Make a Nutella and fresh fruit dessert pizza for Mother’s Day. Sweet and simple made with refrigerated pizza dough.
Prep Time 10 min • Total Time 20 min • Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 tablespoon butter melted
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ½ cup Nutella
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1/4 cup raspberries
- 1/2 cup mandarin orange slices
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 kiwi fruit, sliced
- Whipped cream
- 1/4 tsp Chia seeds, optional
- Chocolate fudge sauce
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Roll the pizza dough out on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Turn the baking sheet horizontally.
- With a sharp knife, gently draw a heart shape in the middle of the dough making sure not to cut through the dough.
- Cut an inch outside of the line you drew with the knife. This area will be the dough crust. Remove the excess dough to save for later.
- Shape the pizza to be a heart. Use the extra dough for added areas of crust where you need it.
- Bake the pizza dough for 8 minutes.
- In a small bowl, melt butter and add sugar to the butter. Stir well until the sugar dissolves. Brush the butter mixture all over the pizza dough.
- Place the dough back into the oven to bake for another 3-5 minutes until the pizza is golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let the pizza cool.
- Sprinkle the edge of the heart with powdered sugar then move your heart pizza to a serving board.
- Spread a generous amount of Nutella over the dough then place the fruit on top.
- Drizzle the chocolate sauce over the fruit. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle on the Chia seeds.
- Slice when ready to serve.
