Like many famous brands, Turkey Hill Dairy came from humble beginnings, selling bottled milk directly from their Lancaster County farm to neighbours, during the Great Depression.
Turkey Hill Dairy started making ice cream in 1980 and are now in the top four in the U.S. They attribute their success to their solid Pennsylvania Dutch culinary heritage, and who are we to argue?
