There are four nights of Semi-finals, consisting of three competitors each night. Competitors must utilize a set number of ingredients from a Mystery Basket. They have 25 minutes to prepare and plate an entrée, and ticket holders get a ‘taste’ portion of every meal prepared, paired with wines from Gosling’s Ltd.!
One winning competitor will be selected each night by a panel of judges to compete in the Final round. You get to vote for Audience Favourite!
There will be four competitors in the Final Round, one of which will win the title of ‘Bermuda’s Rising Chef of the Year’.

As part of the competition selection process, each chef was asked to provide our judges with a video explaining why he/she became (or is becoming) a chef.

Dishes will be judged on taste (30%), presentation (25%), originality in use of mystery ingredient(s) (25%) and work ethic cleanliness, organization, etc. 20%).
Points will be deducted for every portion of a minute exceeding the time limit. Judging is final. One overall winner FOR EACH SEMI-FINAL will be selected by the Judges Panel and one AUDIENCE Favorite winner will be selected. The winner in each category can be the same competitor. Winners will be announced at the END OF EACH EVENING. Judging sheets will not be shared with competitors.
