Ramen is a venerable food item that we see every now and again, loved by an army of fiscally challenged foodies and inevitably re-booted and glorified by the whole food industry.

Derived from the noodles of ancient China, Ramen in its present form originated in seventeenth-century Japan and its popularity soared soon after World War II, in part due to an acute rice shortage.

The rest is culinary history, and this month we’re featuring Koyo Reduced-Salt Organic Garlic Pepper, Tofu and Miso, and Asian Vegetable Ramen.
