Tomatoes are an amazing health food, containing no cholesterol and plenty of dietary fibre and niacin, which help lower cholesterol levels; and potassium and lycopene, which help ease high blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.
Tomatoes have also been shown to help control blood sugar in diabetics, reduce migraine attacks, boost immunity against colds and flu, provide natural sunscreening and more. How impressive is that?
