We love Christmas! It is the time of year when families and good friends come closer together, exchanging greetings and gifts, and settling down at the table to share in what must be the most serious feast of the year.
When we sit and break bread together, warmed by the good feelings engendered by the communal meal, let’s try to imagine what it’s like to be the ones for whom greetings, gifts, the feast, maybe even family and friends are in short supply.
Reaching out to help a neighbour is a wonderful way to express the Christmas Spirit – and to us it’s what really makes the season merry and bright!
