Help make this year’s event the biggest and most impactful yet. The Lindo’s to Lindo’s event goes beyond a mere race; it’s a community-driven initiative aimed at raising awareness about diabetes, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and supporting those in need.
Lindo’s is proud to support Friends of Hospice and Agape House – Bermuda’s only hospice – in their mission to provide hospice and palliative care support services to those at the end of their lives, and ensuring comfort and dignity to those in their last days.
Friends of Hospice, a not for profit organisation, holds an annual raffle, which is incredibly popular and a key fundraiser, which helps to support critical programmes and services for patients and their loved ones. vital to ensuring continuity of care and empowering Agape House to continue looking after their patients which is Due to the COVID-19, raffle sales have been challenging to manage but we are pleased to announce that tickets are now available to purchase online – making it easier than ever to support the organisation in its mission.
This year’s Butterfly Blast raffle features more than $40,000 worth of prizes to be won on June 12th – including a $1,000 voucher for Lindo’s! What’s more, there is still an extra opportunity to win with the last of the ‘Caterpillar Draws’ being held on May 22nd – so if you buy tickets early you could be in with a chance of winning $1,000 vouchers to use at Bates!

The Bermuda Diabetes Association is planning a ‘virtual’ walk event where you can Walk, Run or Jog, in your own time over the weekend of March 19, starting on Friday, March 19, and finishing at midnight March 21.
The planned route starts from St Georges square, walking/running past Gates Fort, the new St Regis Hotel, passing Tobacco Bay, and returning to the square via the golf course and the Unfinished Church.

The Diabetes Centre would love for you to support our local economy. We are very thankful to have some of the restaurants and stores in St. Georges come on board with us to make the walk weekend an even better event.
Before or after the race, you can go for a bite to eat at Wahoo’s Bar and Grill. If you show your race bib on arrival, you will be entered in for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to the restaurant.
You can also stop by The Wharf Restaurant & Bar and receive 10% off your lunch or dinner bill. Please show your digital bib on arrival.
After this, please walk around St. Georges and go for a bit of shopping! Bermuda Linens and 1612 Provisions have offered 10% off your shopping order all weekend if you show your race bib.
