The King’s Hawaiian Bread Story: Back in the 1950s in Hilo, Hawaii, a young man named Robert R. Taira had a passion for baking. Working with the finest ingredients, he refined his recipe until he created a bread that was soft, sweet and irresistible. Today, three generations of the Taira family continue the legacy and the aloha spirit, staying true to the original recipe.

The Rounds: Enjoy round breads the way the Hawaiians do by ripping off one bite-sized chunk at a time. Or use it to give your French toast a delicious island twist. It also makes a perfect bowl for your favorite dip.

The Sliced: Great as a sandwich bread, toast, French toast or even right out of the bag–our delicious slices are loved by both kids and adults. But close the bag tight–this bread is so moist you’ll want to lock in the goodness.
